The truth about the government's free Sustainability Assessments
In 2009 the Australian government released an initiative to give homeowners access to a free sustainability assessment & an interest free $10,000 loan for sustainable products.
The program has struck a number of problems, with the loans being scrapped and assessors limited to five assessments per week.
As a result the quality of assessments is extremely poor, with assessors giving little care to overall quality & customer service as there is little quality control to stop assessors from being paid anyway.
